Title deeds are the collection of documents that make up the paper proof of your property ownership.
They will usually include a folio (registered title) or a lease/assignment/conveyance (unregistered title), an architect or engineers’ certificate of compliance with planning and building regulations, an energy BER cert and various other documents that you require when you decide to sell your property.
As these documents come from a variety of private and government organisations, if you lose your home title deeds you will have to approach them all and pay individual fees to rebuild the necessary documentation to prove your title.
By placing your title deeds into storage with us, you can rest assured knowing that we have checked you deeds, you are not missing any core documents and that they are easily accessible when you need them.
At Deeds Storage, we address all of your needs concerning your title deeds. We first check that you have a complete set of title deeds. We do not certify or guarantee your title, but we do check that fundamentally it is in order. That completed, we prepare a schedule (list) of all of your core title deed documents in a structured way.
To preserve these core deeds, we photocopy and scan. We send you a copy by post and email as part of our Deeds Storage service. We also save a copy to our INPUTE digital archive and store the originals for you.
