How our Deed Storage Process Works

At Deeds Storage, we address all of your needs concerning your title deeds. We first check that you have a complete set of title deeds. We do not certify or guarantee your title, but we do check that fundamentally it is in order. That completed, we prepare a schedule (list) of all of your crucial title deed documents in a structured way.

To preserve these core deeds, we photocopy and scan. We send you a copy by post and email as part of our Deeds Storage service. We also save a copy to our IMPUTE digital archive and store the originals for you.

How Much Do Solicitors Charge to Store House Deeds?

The answer to this question varies largely from firm to firm, it is a service that very few offer and can often be in excess of €150-€200 per year. Without staff members dedicated specifically to scanning and digitally backing up of documents, this is often a very large fee for an incomplete job. If your solicitor ceases their practice or moves firm - you may be left with no option other than to collect your title deeds at short notice, without time to plan for their safe keeping.
